Ward Hayden and David DeLuca

“The Greater Boston music scene is so close-knit it’s not exactly a surprise when various members of different bands jam, collaborate and support one another in different combinations. Every so often, however, an actual new band emerges from those collaborations…”        - Chad Berndtson, The Patriot Ledger

Ward Hayden is the singer/songwriter of Boston-based Americana outfit "Ward Hayden and the Outliers" (formerly "Girls Guns & Glory"). Hayden hails from Scituate, MA, but upon hearing his voice you’ll be questioning how “South” is the South Shore? His sound in rooted in old school Country & Rock ‘n Roll, branching from the roots of pioneering artists such as Lefty Frizzell, Hank Williams and Elvis Presley. Given his penchant for old time Country songs, Hayden considers himself a man born out of time and out of place, but is proud to call himself a Bostonian. Ward and his band have won multiple regional music awards.

David DeLuca is a singer/guitarist that also hails from the South Shore.  Over the years, he has fronted several bands and served as a sideman playing a variety of different styles.  This includes Ashley Jordan, with whom he performed in front of 40,000 people at MixFest at Boston’s Hatch Shell.  “DeLuca’s kinship with the music scene has allow him all the stage time one could ask for and, in turn, this stage time has done great things for his playing.  His tone is impeccable, his licks are tasty and his passion is clear”  - Jay Psaros, “South Shore Magazine”

The combination of Hayden & DeLuca is not to be missed. “The Singer & The Slinger” will leave you haunted and spellbound one moment, and out of your seat and dancing the next. If a duo can be labeled a “super-group”, then that is exactly what you have here.
