David DeLuca, is a singer/songwriter/guitarist that hails from Boston's South Shore. In recent years he has become a vital fixture on the Boston music scene. He lends his impeccable guitar tone and bombastic vocals not only to his own projects, but for a number of regional artists from all over New England.  This includes a performance with local singer Ashley Jordan, in front of 40,000 people during MixFest at Boston’s Hatch Shell. DeLuca also serves as mentor, producer and recording engineer.

David was a founding member of the Boston band Highway Ghosts, which the Patriot Ledger called "..a testament to the enduring and thriving roots music scene in the Greater Boston area."

The Boston Globe also praised the band's accomplishments: "Highway Ghosts masterfully blend roots-rocking guitars, ragged-but-right vocals set to rustic melodies, and other good stuff that never goes out of style when it's done right." - Jonathan Perry, Boston Globe

Over the years, David has served as an organizer of "The New England Americana Festival", and the "Roots in the Round" series.  He has also fronted a blues band called "Double D and the Bluesmakers".  In additional to his role as a sideman, he can often be found playing as a member of The Daybreakers, or performing as a duo with his good friend Ward Hayden.
